Small impression Brass and bronze chandeliers

Below you will find a small impression of the numerous Brass and bronze chandeliers available at Kroonluchteratelier De Rode Hoeve. The collection is expanded and changed on a regular basis. To view them all you are welcome to pay us a visit at our location in Oldebroek (centre of Holland) and in the near future at our location in the south of the Netherlands (nearby Maastricht).  We will kindly inform and advise you about all the possibilities.

Flemish luster

The brass or bronze chandelier is often called the ‘church chandelier’ or the Flemish luster. This chandelier can be characterized by the Dutch image of frugality. Often they are missing the dainty ornaments apparent in other kinds of chandeliers. A distinguishing feature of this kind of chandelier is the big globe at the bottom of the S shaped arms. When the copper or gold coloured lamp is often polished the lamp will sparkles in the reflection of the light.
